Virtual Senior Mock Interview Day Fri. 3.3.23
Practice interviewing before the Career Fair!
Offered through Mock Interview Program at the Center for Career Exploration & Success.
Are you a Senior getting ready to graduate soon? This Event is for Senior Students at Miami University who wish to practice interviewing to prepare for job opportunities.
In a 45-Minute Mock Interview you will be able to practice your behavioral-based interviewing skills and receive invaluable feedback from Miami Employer Partners and Recruiters.
To participate:
Step 1: Upload your resume to Handshake (see instructions below)
Step 2: Register for the MID via this Registration Link
Step 3: Select your Interview Time Slot (see below instructions). The 45min. mock interview sessions are being offered between 9am-5pm.
Step 4: Mark your calendar

Dress in professional attire, be on time and have a copy of your resume with you during the interview.

Step A: Check your calendar for the times when you are FREE
Step B: Upload a resume into Handshake:
Log into miamioh.joinhandshake.com
Click on your account icon (upper-right corner)
Select Documents and follow the prompts.

Step C: Register and Select the time-slot:
After you register (apply with your resume) via registration link
Log into Handshake miamioh.joinhandshake.com
Click on your Handshake profile icon (Upper- Right Corner)
Select My Jobs, then from the listed options click on the title that starts with the word “Interview…”
Once the Interview Schedule page opens up, scroll down and select the desired interview Time Slot.
Step D: MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the date and time you selected.
Step E: Make sure to cancel your mock interview, if your schedule changes, online through Handshake up until 11:59 p.m. two business days prior to the interview without penalty. Here are the steps:
Log into Handshake miamioh.joinhandshake.com
Click on your Handshake profile icon (Upper- Right Corner)
Select My Jobs, then from the listed options click on the title that starts with the word “Interview…”
Once the Interview Schedule page opens up, scroll down and remove the interview Time Slot. Or withdraw your application from the event: Select My Jobs, then from the listed options click on the title that starts with the word “JOB…”
