Sales / Business Development Intern - Summer 2022 (in-person)

Lower is seeking a Sales/Business Development Intern to join our 2022 Summer Intern Program. In this role, you will have an opportunity move through 2 rotations in the areas of business development and loan advising during a 10-week internship program (May 31, 2022 – August 5, 2022). Rotational opportunities will allow for a deep dive in business development through engagement and mentorship by Sales Development Representatives and Loan Advisors. You will work on top notch technology systems (Salesforce, Encompass), enhance your negotiation skills, and acquire mortgage industry knowledge with support from our in-house training team. Be part of the tremendous growth at Lower in 2022—onward and upward!
 
Who you are:

  • You are an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore or Junior majoring in marketing, finance, communications, real estate, business, or related field
  • You perform in the classroom with a 3.0+ GPA
  • You are energetic, adaptable, and enjoy working on collaborative teams
  • You are comfortable with providing superior customer service and enjoy talking to people!
  • You are energized by new opportunities and love to share your passion with others

What you’ll do

  • You will learn business development and sales strategies from our top producers at Lower
  • You will engage with the industry’s top leads that we provide you to generate new and repeat sales
  • You will educate customers about features and benefits of products, making recommendations as appropriate to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • You will interview prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data to determine a customer’s financing objectives.
  • You will have the opportunity to earn your NMLS while receiving the same training as full-time associates
