About TQL Stadium
TQL Stadium, home of FC Cincinnati’s, is one of the most ambitious soccer-specific stadiums in not only North America but the world, is one of the largest soccer-specific facilities in Major League Soccer (MLS). The $250 million, privately funded stadium has a capacity of 26,000, with the closest seats within 15 feet of the field. TQL Stadium includes 53 traditional suites and 4,500 premium seats throughout four premium club spaces. Additionally, the team’s famous supporters’ section, The Bailey, is 3,100 strong and looms over opponents at a 34-degree angle at the stadium’s north end. A 360-degree canopy roof covers every seat in the stadium, but still allows sufficient sun in to grow a natural grass field. The stadium has five team locker rooms, including a comprehensive team suite for FC Cincinnati that features a dressing room, coaches offices, lounge, equipment storage and the Mercy Health Center of Excellence for the team’s medical and game day fitness needs. Position Overview
FC Cincinnati is seeking highly motivated individuals interested in being a part of the FCC Grassroots & Game Day Marketing Staff. You will work all home match days for the club to increase fan experience and engagement. You will also represent FCC at various community events outside of game days, such as, watch parties, festivals, community gatherings, etc. You will offer fun and interactive activities to leave lasting impressions on current and future fans.
 
General Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate game day Fan Zones at Washington Park, the Carl and Martha Linder Plaza and Mercy Health Plaza which includes providing excellent customer service while offering fun and engaging activities such as Striker Challenge, craft zones, photo stations and occasionally soccer skills stations.
  • Set up and break down of marketing tent, inflatables, photo booth, soccer equipment, corporate and community partner activations, etc. on game days and at community events
  • Distribute marketing materials such as pocket schedules, posters, and flyers on game days and at community events
  • Interact with fans by facilitating contests, promotions, and giveaways on game days and at community events
  • Facilitate data capture through “enter to win” opportunities on game days and at community events

Required Skills
  • Fun, outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact and communicate with many different types of people and groups.
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Ability to be a team player and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Passionate about promoting FC Cincinnati
  • Soccer knowledge and experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish is a plus
  • Detail-orientated

Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to work the remaining home games of the 2021 MLS season and have available to work other nights and weekends
  • Education or experience in marketing, communications, sport management, or event production/promotions
  • Ability to problem solve in a time sensitive manner
  • Flexible schedule during season with availability weekdays, weekend, and/or holidays
  • Self-starter that can be given a task and will take ownership for the successful execution on it
  • Ability to think critically and outside the box
