Take your research skills to the next level and gain valuable experience contributing to projects within our Research Department. 

Research Development Internship
The Research department produces academically respected economic research, monitors and reports on regional and national economic trends, and helps to craft public communications on economic issues. The department also models complex economic systems, analyzes data, and evaluates economic information to support the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s monetary policy responsibilities.

Design, develop and implement scalable, reliable and maintainable code in Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other languages.  Work with us to create processes automations which connect cloud and on premise solutions which facilitate our administrative and research processes.  The solution implementation process will require you to create process and training documentation, complete functional and unit testing, and to be involved code and functional reviews. Other Development and System Administration duties as required. 

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with coding skills (Python, JavaScript, Web Applications)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with PL/SQL is a plus
