Talmetrix is currently seeking a UI/UX Design intern. This individual will work closely with members of the development team as well as project owners to design the user experience of web applications.
You will:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers
- Work with other disciplines to gather and define design solutions
- Be able to clearly explain the reasoning behind design solutions
- Participate in project ideation working sessions
- Design wireframes and workflows for mobile and desktop
- Create style guides to be used by developers and other disciplines
- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve user experience
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Desired skills:
- Previous experience creating wireframes for web applications
- Solid understanding of responsive design
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills with the ability to translate ideas into wireframes and/or workflows
- The ability to work within a team or independently
- Currently studying UX design, UI design, or related field
