Marketing Intern (Fall/Spring 2021)

Marketing Intern
 
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for managing small projects, engaging in larger department initiatives, and assisting with daily operations. This person should have a knack for keeping things organized as there will be multiple, competing tasks that they are working on bringing over the line. Through participation of our sales and marketing meetings, this individual will be able to contribute ideas and collaborate with a team that is driving progressive infill markets throughout a national territory as well as supporting our field construction, maintenance and service offerings. This individual will be critical in the organization’s success as we work to position our organization as a trusted partner that prides itself on providing remarkable customer service.
 
Key Activities:
 
Marketing
1.    Event and tradeshow planning
2.    Build sample boxes and collateral kits
3.    Helps organize marketing resources such as trade show materials, signage, collateral, and sample boxes
4.    Assist marketing team with marketing campaigns and initiatives
5.    Support public relations efforts and media research
6.    Engage in efforts centered around customer retention program
7.    Provides copy writing and editing support
 
Administrative
1.    CRM entry and content management
2.    Support daily operations of marketing team
3.    Assist with general department resource tracking
4.    Participate in web research and competitive information gathering
5.    Assist with other marketing related tracking and sales support requests
 
Qualifications:
·      Junior or a Senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related degree
·      Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
·      Excellent communication (written and verbal)
·      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
·      Highly creative and curious
·      Works well in a team environment
·      Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
·      Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign)
 
Reports to: Brand Manager
Employment Classification Level: Non-Exempt
