Primary Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst is expected to work with individuals on the Reinsurance & Analytics team. This position is an entry level role geared towards an individual who is starting their career and strives to learn. They are not scared to take on new projects. Some of the things this position will be asked to do are:
· Collaborate with business process owners and developers to gather, interpret and troubleshoot different pieces of data
· Gather requirements for the creation of application reports and dashboards
· Create SSRS report objects to be embedded into software solutions for Ethos customers
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences, Data Science, Statistics or related field
· GPA of 3.0 or better
Preferred Experience (not required):
· SQL development with Microsoft, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQLite
· Microsoft Visual Studio
· SQL Report Services, PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, MicroStrategy, R or similar reporting toolset
· Agile or Scrum (JIRA, VSTS, Kanban, etc.)
