Infrastructure Intern [Cleveland, OH]

We are excited for the future and our continued growth! Our Technology Services team is again seeking talented individuals in the role of Infrastructure Intern. This position will reside in our Cleveland, Ohio location. There will be some travel to other office locations or for training (< 5%).

2021 Technology Services - Infrastructure Internship Opportunity
  • Full-time internship opportunity from May- August of 2021
  • Possibility to continue working part-time during the Fall 2021 semester and beyond, assuming strong performance
  • Most of the time will be spent in our Cleveland or Akron office, travel to other offices will be limited
  • Participate in projects related to LAN/WAN, Disaster Recovery, Public Cloud, and Collaboration.
  • Assist with the documentation of current IT policies and procedures, including proper format and branding into the Atlassian suite of products including Confluence and Jira.


Experience and Skills:


Requirements
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred Major(s): Computer Engineering, Computer Science, CIS or related
  • GPA: Minimum 3.2
  • Preferred Coursework:
  • Familiarization with networking concepts and hardware (TCP/IP, DNS, VOIP, Windows networking, routers, switches, etc.)
  • Familiarization with virtualization technology concepts (VMware, Azure)
  • If continuing into the Fall semester, must be able to work 2-3 days/week, totaling to at least 20 hours/week
