Administrative Associate I - Contract Aid

Administrative Associate I – Contract Aid
 
What You’ll Do:
 
  • Work in a team environment assisting and consulting with full-time Contract management professionals to prepare and process contract closeout paperwork and create electronic contract records.
  • Perform analysis of contracts documents and modifications and prepare contract documents for signature and closeout activities.
  • Build upon university acquired knowledge to solve actual business and financial issues associated with contract closeout.
  • Utilize oral and written communication skills to communicate directly with program managers and contract administrators by drafting, editing and creating contract closeout documents.  
  • Update, develop and maintain both hard and soft-copy file databases of contracts, and related documentation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the contract database and paperless workflow.
  • Review Government and Prime Contract customers’ contracts and other business management documentation to ensure that internal databases match contract information in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
  • Perform administrative tasks: alphabetize and collate files; filing, copying, and scanning documents.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
 
What You’ll Need:
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • High level of accuracy in work products and attention to details.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
 
Working Conditions:
 
  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. 
  • Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:
 
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $17.07 - $22.60 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
