Developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Analytics are the primary missions for LexisNexis and we are seeing the acceleration of amazing AI work being developed in the Legal space.  AI technology is evolving quickly, but AI and Advanced Analytics are only as good as the underlying mastered data.  LexisNexis has millions of the best legal entities in the world!  We are looking for a full stack engineer who is devoted to enhancing our system into a world class authority and editorial system that has metrics, automation and artificial intelligence built in.

Role: The Full Stack Engineer-ROR developer is responsible for ensuring the collection, processing and accuracy of our primary data masters are efficient, reliable and scalable.  The successful candidate must be able to quickly familiarize themselves with LexisNexis’ diverse data resources and have the ability to leverage the latest in AWS technologies to view, manage and maintain the data platform all while showing trends and analytics of the system. 

Responsibilities:
>Develop innovation, strategies, processes and best practices for viewing, fixing, comparing, and auditing data.
> Creative data visualizations that tell a story and engage the user into actions or support or data cleanup trends
>Consult on feature design, implementation to bring consistent designs and implementations across multiple entity types
>Setup and configure and complete deployment jobs for the project
>Perform capacity monitoring and short and long-term capacity planning
>Define and implement automated testing scripts and policies

Qualifications:
Current Ruby on Rails development experience from either academic work or ideally from internship positions.
