Business Development Intern

Remote Internship

Emergency Services (ES) practitioners around the world, particularly in the Global South, face challenges that restrict their ability to effectively serve their communities: limited and irregular budgets, few tools to track, assess, and improve services, slow projects that lack templates or direction, and absence of citizen demand for improved services. We can change the dynamic. GESA (Global Emergency Services Action) was founded in 2020 as a focal point for experts and expertise, matching industry leading equipment and consulting with country and donor demand to promote growth across the ES sector.

As an international non-profit, GESA is an exciting team to join. We embrace GESA’s social purpose and strive to understand the root causes of issues faced by practitioners in emerging markets – from the practitioners themselves. GESA is based in Dayton, OH, and has Members and Advisors from countries across the globe: Austria, Ecuador, Great Britain, Kenya, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, and Zambia – just to name a few. And we are expanding quickly.

With this growth, GESA is seeking a bright, self-motivated Business Development Intern who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the world. Through this internship, you will have a real impact on the advancement of Emergency Services – making the world safer for everyone to grow and develop.
