As a Technology Rotation Intern in Crowe’s Consulting Life Sciences Practice, your role will be focused on helping clients resolve business needs through analyzing data along with defining, crafting, developing and implementing business and technology risk and compliance solutions. This rotational role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of our key offerings, including third party risk, privacy, and internal audit technology. Each area will offer a unique experience and utilize various skillsets.

In your Third-Party rotation, your role will be focused on helping clients resolve business needs through analyzing information security, privacy, and compliance risk, along with defining, developing, and implementing business and technology solutions related to third party risk and vendor management. Our clients rely on our expertise in cybersecurity to identify and help mitigate risk with their vendors and other third parties. As a consultant on our team, you will work with clients and their third parties to understand data flow, network architecture, cloud configurations, and general best cybersecurity practices. You will be responsible for identifying potential risks to client data and services and providing recommendations on steps to remediate. You will also work with clients to design and implement processes and technologies to better categorize and identify third party risk within their organization.

During your rotation in Internal Audit Technology, you will assist our Life Sciences clients to assess and refine their information security posture, technology implementations, and regulatory compliance through IT General Controls and Application Audits, IT Compliance & Assurance Reviews and IT Operational and Risk Management Consulting. You may assist a client with defining IT controls for an initial public offering. You could provide gate checks for a new system implementation to ensure appropriate processes were followed to reduce the risk of the new system not meeting business needs. You could perform a data crown jewels assessment to validate security over critical assets. Overall, you will enable clients to improve their security and create more efficient IT processes.

In your Privacy rotation, you will perform readiness assessments on a client’s privacy program to compare with the regulations and provide recommendations on remediation including creating new policies. As a privacy consultant you will develop privacy assessments and inventories. You perform privacy program consulting and develop and implement tools to enable the client to manage cookie notices and consent processes and create training. As a consultant you will enable clients to better protect the privacy of their customers and employees and become better stewards of personal information.

Education:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in: Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems/Information Technology/Informatics or comparable major.
  • GPA : 3.0 or above
