This requisition reflects potential co-op openings for the Summer 2021/Fall 2021 Session (May - December).
Design Opportunity exits in our Engine Design Department:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assisting design engineers in developing / designing of future models and supporting the creation of drawings. Activities will include CAD design, creating Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint documents, cost & weight calculations, attending meetings and working with other design/test groups, suppliers, manufacturing, etc
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a four year degree in Mechanical Engineering (Freshman Year Completed) with an expected graduation date of 2023
Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
Proficient PC Skills, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, MATLAB/LABVIEW, and database management.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
Completed statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, drafting, 3D CAD (Preferably CATIA)
Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
Involvement with the Mini-Baja/Formula SAE/etc. and CAD design experience a plus.
