League Operations Internship
The League Operations Internship position is for a mature college graduate or undergraduate. Preference is given to students majoring in Sport Management and/or Administration, Business, and to students using the internship for college credit. Knowledge of, love for, and ability to score the game of baseball is essential. Ideal candidates are those who wish to gain an invaluable experience working for a sports organization. Will be involved in all aspects of managing a baseball league, under the supervision of the Florida League President
Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration of Futures League, Spring Break High School tournaments and High School Division
- Act as League Official at Florida League games
- Assist with Florida League projects
- Assist with Marketing/PR/Social Media
- Coordinate and attend special events throughout season including: Opening Day, All-Star, Scout Showcase, etc.
- Assist with the procurement of sponsors and groups
- League inventory management
- Player research and registration management
- Accounting assistance
- Interns hiring assistance
- Work in League office five days per week
