Exciting Opportunity to be part of the LabCorp/Covance 2021 Global Internship Program as a BioAnalytical Lab Intern in Salt Lake City, UT!  We offer real work assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Healthcare disciplines, are challenging and recognized to the organization as valuable. About the Team:
  • The Bioanalytical department performs method development, method validation, and sample analysis that provides analytical data to clients in support of many stages of drug development.
 Internship Assignment Summary:
  • Learn how to use electronic laboratory information management systems.
  • Perform routine small equipment maintenance and verify accuracy of measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory of solutions and reagents for use throughout the lab along with training and in practice of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) regulatory guidance in accordance with the FDA.
  • Work with a team to maintain a safe and organized laboratory workspace.
  • Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence.

Education/Qualifications/Skills: 
  • Working towards bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Has completed a minimum of two semesters of lab-based course work.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

Experience:
