Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2021
As an analyst intern on our team, you won’t spend your time stuffing envelopes or getting someone coffee. Working on projects integral to company success, you’ll expand your problem-solving expertise and communication skills. Additionally, you’ll work closely with company leaders to provide analytical insight along with a mentor, who will help guide your professional development.
When: Summer 2021 (May-August)
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative area of study (e.g.; Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other Quantitative disciplines)
- Planned graduation within one year of completing internship
Preferred skills:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Intermediate communication skills, verbal and written, as well as listening and interviewing
- Intermediate organizational (planning, time management, priority management) and problem-solving skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc)
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and practical knowledge of SAS, Tableau or other analytical tools, such as Python, R, Google Analytics and SQL
