CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP 


Work Type: Internship
Applicant Major: Sales, Business, Analytics        
Potential Locations: Boise, Chicago, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Nashville, Rogers, Seattle (K-C Sales Offices)          
Program Dates: 10 weeks starting early June 

Summary of Position
Customer Development is Kimberly-Clark’s Sales organization that strategically partner with retailers to drive growth initiatives.

Interns will be assigned to a specific sales team located in one of the above K-C sales offices. Interns will work on two projects, one individual and one group. Both projects will focus on creating retailer-specific recommendations utilizing data analytics, ultimately presenting in-person to Kimberly-Clark’s Customer Development Leadership Team at the end of the program. Past projects include: marketplace analysis, distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising recommendations.

These projects will incorporate vital skills necessary to be considered for a Customer Development Associate role. Following a successful internship, there is a possibility of full-time employment through the 2-year Customer Development Associate rotational program.


The Customer Development Intern will gain experience in the following areas:

Qualifications
·        Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with Spring 2022 graduation
·        Desire to use data and insights to develop actionable recommendations
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·        Proven leadership experience
·        Strength with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
·        Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence others
·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships
·        Ability to relocate within the United States
·        Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
·        Valid driver’s license is required
