2020 Nestlé USA Marketing Communications Internship

What to Expect:
In the Corporate Communications function, we offer Summer Internships for students majoring in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations and other related majors. This 10-12 week Internship allows you to be involved by working on substantial, real-world projects in corporate communications from start to finish. Interns will have the opportunity to make an impact on the business and continue to build your presentation skills, analytical and leadership abilities while gaining hands-on experience in Corporate Communications through real business projects in a global CPG organization.

As a key member of the Internal Communications team, responsibilities will include:
• Drafting communications materials messages from key leaders to their teams, talking points, and content for our internal social network, Workplace
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of internal Town Hall meetings for our businesses and functions
• Supporting virtual employee events and communications to ensure visibility to the company’s performance, progress and purpose
• Where relevant, maintaining project trackers and communications materials
• Serving as a full team member of the Nestlé USA internal communications team
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

As a Nestlé USA intern, your work will have measurable goals and objectives which are achievable during your tenure. Although this a virtual internship and you won’t be asked to come to one of our corporate campuses, your experience will be further enriched through a multitude of virtual social and professional networking opportunities which include interaction with senior management and team members from across business units and functions.

Our intern program is designed to develop the future leaders of Nestlé USA. These highly sought-after internships are comprehensive, interactive and strategically integrated into the Corporate Communications organization. We are looking for students with the right mix of talent and enthusiasm, and with the ability and desire to work in a team environment. As an intern, you will receive hands-on learning through assigned projects designed to provide you with direct experience for this role at our company.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field expected to attain by June 2020 or
• 5th year Master’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field expected to attain by June 2020

Preferred Requirements:
• Related majors include Advertising, English, and Journalism
• Willing to work remotely from August -September 2020
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• GPA of 3.0 and above
• MS Office skills, including design skills in Microsoft PowerPoint

Additional Requirements:
• Available for a 10-12 week internship in Summer/Fall 2020
• Interest in Corporate Communications
• Sponsorship for work visas are not available for this program
