Inside Learning Consultant

Cengage is currently seeking a qualified sales professional to join their Inside Sales Team. While working from Cengage's Independence, KY office, this position entails daily calls to college campuses and connecting with a variety of campus decision makers: instructors, bookstore managers, department chairs, etc

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

* Consultative sales experience and/or training is preferred

*Publishing sales experience and/or 2 years of sales or customer facing experience is preferred

*The ability to influence decision makers by developing and maintaining your network

*Strong presentation skills, both to individuals and groups

*Highly developed technical skills to be used in daily job execution, which may include sales demonstrations and training

*Flexibility and adaptability to change

*Availability to travel for National Sales Meeting twice a year

*Availability to travel and present sales material for key sales adoptions on an occasional basis

*Contact management systems experience, such as Siebel or Salesforce.com, is preferred
