GENERAL FUNCTION:
Performs a variety of assigned duties and special projects within the defined framework of an employee / leadership development program involving hands-on rotations through key departments within the Wealth & Asset Management(WAM)Division. Becomes familiar with the business practices, operations, and procedures in each department rotation, acquiring the knowledge, skills, and experience required for assuming a permanent role (sales or support) in an WAM department.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Add value to each department by performing the duties and assignments required by the development program, throughout various WAM departments.
  • Meet with program manager and rotation manager on a regular basis to discuss rotation results, business priorities, career development, etc.
  • Provide feedback to manager about rotations, special projects, etc.
  • Take advantage of participating in a formal or informal mentor and peer resource opportunities.
  • Observe departmental procedures and workflow to become familiar with the function of each department.
  • Handle special assignments/projects as assigned by department managers.
  • Build an extensive network of contacts within IA and supporting divisions.
  • Attend formal training classes, complete all assigned eLearning courses and participate in extensive self-learning.
  • Participate in / lead Associate program initiatives: recruiting, community service, impact planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration or MBA.
  • Strong candidates should have relevant internship and/ or co-op program experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and to be flexible.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • This position requires SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System ("NMLS").
