Finance Rotational Development Program

Program Overview
The Hillenbrand Finance Rotational Development program is designed to accelerate your career as a Finance professional and to develop the future financial leaders of our company. The program is geared toward recent graduates who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.
The program consists of four six month rotational assignments within the finance organization and is designed to expose participants to various aspects of corporate finance, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit, etc. Each position will build upon the finance knowledge and skills learned during the previous assignment(s). The rotational positions will provide challenging work experiences and comprehensive training, as well as the opportunity to interact with global finance leaders across the organization. Throughout the program you will receive coaching and support from the program finance leader, as well as direct mentorship from a senior leader within the company. Upon successful completion of the program you will be placed in a permanent domestic finance role within the company. 
Rotations may be located at the corporate center in Batesville, IN and/or at any one of the domestic operating company locations. You may be required to travel up to 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally. 
Program Highlights
As a member of the Finance team, you will work on various assignments that allow you to:
  • Contribute to challenging and value add projects that help drive company decisions and directly impact the company’s bottom line
  • Develop professional and technical skills through completion of work assignments and internal and external training opportunities
  • Gain a global business perspective by working closely with finance personnel in Germany and other countries around the world
  • Develop a professional network of Hillenbrand contacts
  • Gain exposure to the various Hillenbrand operating companies and different geographical areas and business segments
  • Enhance and fine tune your written and oral communication skillS
 Requirements
  • Graduation within the last two years with a B.A. degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Strong record of academic achievement (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA)
  • Proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience (co-op or internship experience is preferred)
  • At the end of the program must be willing to relocate to any of the various sites within the US
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (no sponsorships)

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (communicates with professional candor)
  • Ability to think strategically, with a global mindset
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
